At OPics Insights, we help manufacturers and logistics providers transform raw operational data into usable business insights. We take your raw data, and turn it in to meaningful, interactive Power Bi dashboards - no Power Bi licensing required.

Get started by completing our scoping document.

Step 1 – Choose a Dashboard Layout

Choose from our selection of pre-made SCM dashboard layouts. These have been designed with operational clarity in mind.

Step 2 – Select your KPI’s

Choose the metrics that matter to your business. Based on your selection, we’ll let you know the required input data we need to build your dashboards

Don’t see the KPI’s or metrics you want? Don’t worry, we can customise the dashboards to suit your needs. Calculations are performed automatically inside the dashboard model, we just need your raw data.

Step 3 – NDA & Service Agreement

Before sharing any files, you'll receive:

  • A non-disclosure agreement (NDA)

  • A simple service agreement outlining deliverables, timelines, and pricing

  • A file upload guide

These are digitally signed and included automatically in the onboarding flow. Work begins only after mutual agreement

Step 4 – Upload Your Files

Send your ERP / WMS downloads in their raw format. No cleaning or formatting required.

For regular uploads, you can use the upload portal section of our client portal.

Step 5 – Dashboard Setup

We’ll create your custom dashboard using Power BI Embedded. This includes:

  • File validation & prep

  • First draft delivery within 10 working days.

    Billing and regular file uploading begins once you’re happy with the dashboard(s), no payments necessary before this point.

Step 6 – Data Automation, Sign off & Ongoing Support

Once approved, we’ll build a custom data pipeline using Azure Data Factory to automate your uploads.

We’ll embed your dashboard in our secure client portal, for you to view anytime.

Your dashboard stays live and refreshed in line with your data uploads and refresh requirements. Support and visual tweaks included.
